Handpicked: Father's Day Ideas

My husband has a generous spirit and is an extravagant gift-giver. Case in point, I'm currently typing this on my Mother's Day gift, a new iPad, which I love because it allows me to blog from anywhere (not to mention watch Sex in the City anytime I want). Anyway, I've seen a lot of Father's Day gift ideas on Pinterest and my blogroll lately... many of them are very clever, but let's be honest, wouldn't your husband be happier if you paired one of these cutesy ideas with the new golf club he's been wanting? Just sayin'...

Be that as it may, I've still compiled a few of my favorite ideas for Father's Day. I wouldn't suggest relying on one of these to carry the day, but they're great for the kids to give. You know your husband best... what does he really want?

Peaches and Cream Scones

Good morning, sunshines! Sadly, peach season is coming to a rapid close, but before it's gone for another year, you've gotta try these scones! They taste like peach cobbler that you can hold in your hand! If you recall, I rounded up some great peach recipes for you a few weeks back, and this was one I just had to try myself. The recipe comes from A Latte Food . The only thing I changed was the amount of vanilla that went in the glaze. I decreased it from 1 T. to 1 tsp. Hey there! Happy Monday! Have you undecorated for Christmas yet? I have to do a decoration detox for a bit after the holidays. I keep the decor to a minimum, but around now, I start to think about Valentine's Day decorations. I think it's hard to work with red and pink since our house is mostly blue, gray and green.
