Craft of the Week: Cottage Door Plant Rack

We spent the weekend doing some non-fun stuff like cleaning out the garage and just generally tidying up outside. Next up, buying some new perennials, edging the beds, getting a truckload of mulch...and hopefully pretty-ing up the outside with projects like this cottage door plant rack from Centsational Girl. You wouldn't have to use a door...a window would work, too. The idea is to use salvage, though. You can easily find old doors and windows at thrift stores because they're pretty popular right now. And since it isn't necessary for them to have glass or screens intact, you could probably get something for a song.

Peaches and Cream Scones

Good morning, sunshines! Sadly, peach season is coming to a rapid close, but before it's gone for another year, you've gotta try these scones! They taste like peach cobbler that you can hold in your hand! If you recall, I rounded up some great peach recipes for you a few weeks back, and this was one I just had to try myself. The recipe comes from A Latte Food . The only thing I changed was the amount of vanilla that went in the glaze. I decreased it from 1 T. to 1 tsp. Hey there! Happy Monday! Have you undecorated for Christmas yet? I have to do a decoration detox for a bit after the holidays.
