Craft of the Week: Ruffled Lampshade



This tutorial from Little Blue Prints had me at hello. I just love a good lamp makeover, don't you? Maybe it's because they seem so do-able within a couple of naptimes, or maybe it's because ugly lamps are so easy to find, making it easy to get a lot of makeover bang for the budget. Anyway, I've got two lamps that need a major overhaul, so I'm thinking this is an idea I'm ready to try for one of 'em. I can't get my hot glue gun out fast enough! Do you have any good lamp stories? Peaches and Cream Scones

Good morning, sunshines! Sadly, peach season is coming to a rapid close, but before it's gone for another year, you've gotta try these scones! They taste like peach cobbler that you can hold in your hand! If you recall, I rounded up some great peach recipes for you a few weeks back, and this was one I just had to try myself. The recipe comes from A Latte Food . The only thing I changed was the amount of vanilla that went in the glaze. I decreased it from 1 T. to 1 tsp. Hey there! Happy Monday! Have you undecorated for Christmas yet? I have to do a decoration detox for a bit after the holidays.
